As Tabit, within the scope of Lassa’s “If Agriculture is Strong, the Future is Strong” project for Brisa, we aimed to inform farmers about sustainable agricultural practices and ensure safe travel on the roads. In this project, we visited 155 villages across 20 provinces in Turkey, reaching a total of 9,500 farmers.
During these visits, accompanied by our agricultural engineers, we provided farmers with 1,600 prescriptions and solution recommendations on Good Agricultural Practices to enhance productivity. Additionally, to improve the visibility of trailers in the dark, we installed 4,230 reflectors on trailers. Since 2013, as part of this project, we have installed a total of 10,740 reflectors.
Throughout every phase of the project, we delivered 5,425 hours of information and consultancy services to farmers about region-specific agricultural practices, productivity strategies, and agricultural economics. Furthermore, to increase the visibility of tractors on the road, we installed reflectors. Our events also included fun games and competitions to enhance both knowledge retention and participant engagement.
