Farmer Decision Support System

Tabit has developed the Farmer Decision Support System to help farmers operating in the agriculture and livestock sectors increase productivity and make informed decisions in agricultural production. Within this project, a comprehensive database has been created to collect and process agricultural data. This database includes important information on diseases and pests, agricultural methods, fertilization, irrigation techniques, and more.

Project Objectives:

  • Providing Knowledge and Consultancy to Farmers: Tabit aims to help farmers make informed decisions by providing accurate and up-to-date information on disease and pest control methods, productivity-enhancing techniques, and other agricultural topics.
  • Increasing Productivity and Profitability: The project presents farmers with correct agricultural techniques and strategies to enable more efficient and profitable production processes.
  • Monitoring Agricultural Data: Thanks to the database created by Tabit, agricultural data is continuously monitored and analyzed. This data is used to offer solutions tailored to farmers’ needs and local agricultural conditions.

Project Implementation and Management:
Tabit continuously works on the Farmer Decision Support System. The database is regularly updated and made accessible to farmers. Information and consultancy services provided under this project are delivered by expert agronomists and veterinarians. In addition, services are offered directly to farmers through Tabit’s web and mobile applications.

Project Contributions and Sustainability:
The Farmer Decision Support System facilitates farmers’ access to knowledge and enhances productivity in the agriculture and livestock sectors. Thanks to the continuously updated database, long-term support is provided to farmers, promoting the sustainability of agricultural activities. Furthermore, equipping farmers with accurate information and techniques contributes to increased agricultural production, improved efficiency, and strengthens Turkey’s competitiveness in the agricultural sector.
