Awareness meetings for Farmer Accident Insurance were organized in collaboration with SBN Insurance.
The Personal Accident Insurance offered by SBN provides coverage against unexpected, sudden, and external accidents, helping policyholders minimize the financial impact of potential incidents. Covered risks include death and permanent disability. In the event of death, compensation is paid to the designated beneficiaries, while permanent disability is compensated according to the degree of disability. Optional coverage includes medical expense protection and daily allowance for temporary inability to work, compensating for income loss. This insurance allows policyholders to feel more secure by reducing the financial burden of unforeseen accidents.
This insurance service was introduced to farmers through a project carried out by Tabit. Informative meetings were held in village cafés to raise awareness about SBN’s Personal Accident Insurance. The project aimed to educate farmers on the benefits of this insurance and increase their awareness of financial protection. The project was successfully completed, and the insurance service has since been more widely adopted among farmers.
