At Tabit, we organize the “Women Farmers Training” program to contribute to women’s economic empowerment. This project aims to help women farmers enhance their economic status by producing crops using modern technologies. Our training program supports women in advancing toward a sustainable future by improving their knowledge and skills in agriculture.
Training Content:
In the first phase of the program, participants receive greenhouse training. Greenhouse farming offers women farmers significant opportunities as a low-cost, technology-supported production model. We provide comprehensive knowledge on efficient production techniques, seedling cultivation, fertilization methods, and disease management within greenhouse operations.
Technology-Based Practical Training:
The program emphasizes hands-on learning where theoretical knowledge is applied through interactive use of technology. After completing the training, women farmers start production in modern greenhouses provided to them free of charge. Essential inputs such as seedlings and fertilizers are supplied by the project.
Support from Agricultural Engineers:
Experienced agricultural engineers provide consulting and training support to women farmers. They guide participants in efficient greenhouse practices, helping them succeed throughout the production process.
Opportunity for Sustainable Income:
After training, women farmers retain 100% of the revenue from their first harvest sales. This income allows them to establish their own greenhouses. With technology-supported greenhouses, they can generate sustainable income at low cost and successfully manage their businesses.
Community and Solidarity:
The training program fosters a sense of community and solidarity. Women farmers support each other, share experiences, and strengthen one another.
The Women Farmers Training program is an important step in empowering women in agriculture and helping them achieve economic independence. At Tabit, we are committed to enhancing the knowledge and skills of women farmers and advancing agriculture toward the future.
