At the event The Mathematics of Agricultural Economy, organized by Kibele Projekt, TABİT Vice Chairman Coşkun Yıldırım met with participants from 15:50 to 16:50.
The fourth edition of Agriculture Talks, which keeps a pulse on the food-agriculture sectors, was held on April 29 by Kibele Projekt. The online event, titled The Mathematics of Agricultural Economy, took place under the main sponsorship of Denizbank, with media partnership by Agro TV and support from Nişantaşı University, opening the horizons of those interested in food and agriculture topics.
Designed to address the challenges, solutions, and best practices in the highly speculative and information-deficient modern food-agriculture sector, Agriculture Talks brought the industry together. Under the title The Mathematics of Agricultural Economy, the event sought answers to questions such as: Food Inflation, Agricultural Finance and Banking in the Shadow of the Pandemic, Financing Production Costs, How Can Input Costs Be Reduced?, and How Can We Improve the Supply Chain?
Moderated by company partner Yusuf Kurt, the panel on How Can We Improve the Supply Chain? featured Prof. Dr. Arzu Tektaş from Boğaziçi University, Ali Çandır, President of the Antalya Commodity Exchange, and Coşkun Yıldırım, General Manager of TABİT Management Consultancy, who shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants.
