Koçarlı Robofest Festival Takes Place

The Robofest Festival, organized by the Koçarlı Directorate of National Education with Tabit Smart Village as a project partner, was held across Aydın province. The event took place on Tuesday, May 24, at the Koçarlı Vali Şenol Engin Sports Hall and was attended by District Governor Ersin Tepeli, Mayor Nedim Kaplan, District Director of National Education Osman Arıkoğlu, Tabit Smart Agriculture Technologies R&D Manager Orhan Kurt, other officials, teachers, and students. The festival kicked off with exhibition stands and a gamification seminar for elementary, middle, and high school students.

The second day continued with educational activities at Tabit Smart Village. At the Agricultural Technology Training Workshop, R&D Manager Orhan Kurt introduced the “Latmos Explorer” application and conducted various educational sessions for children. Dramatization techniques were used to engage the children and provide them with interactive, memorable experiences.

On the final day, competitions were held for different school levels:

  • Elementary School: Scratch programming contest
  • Middle School: Line-following robot contest
  • High School: Line-following robot contest

Additionally, under the guidance of Yavuz Pullukçu from ArkheTech, children experienced VR for the first time, immersing them in the Latmos region with its 8,000-year-old rock paintings, Roman frescoes, and other historical treasures, all presented in a digital environment to raise awareness.

The festival concluded with a group photo session, celebrating the exciting experiences and achievements of the students.
