The Project Featured in the Press

The low-power smart Sensor Network System designed by Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences for TABİT Smart Agriculture Technologies has received wide media coverage. The system, which operates with low energy consumption and increases productivity, is planned to be implemented nationwide.

Launched with the slogan “Bringing Rural Life to the Future” and celebrating its 16th year, Tabit Smart Agriculture Technologies continues to make significant advances. Recently, the low-power smart sensor network system designed by Istanbul Bilgi University for TABİT received strong media support. Dünya Gazetesi, one of the newspapers that covers projects extensively, noted that the system, with its low power consumption and backup capabilities, records data comprehensively, facilitating and increasing production. The newspaper added that if the system is implemented across the country, it could give a significant boost to agriculture.

“Technology Revolution in Agriculture”

TELE1 News Channel featured the TABİT project under the title “Technology Revolution in Agriculture”, reporting that this technology enables a local and national system to advance the agriculture sector in terms of cost, productivity, durability, and data storage. It was noted that after trials in the Vodafone Smart Village, established in cooperation with Vodafone, nationwide implementation is planned to begin in 2021.

The Turkish Internet Site covered the Sensor Network System project under the headline “$62 Million Turkish Agriculture Sector to Use TABİT Smart Agriculture Technologies”, highlighting Istanbul Bilgi University’s support for TABİT’s development of agricultural technologies. The article stated:
